Barry Knudsen is one of the original Knudsen Brothers and a longtime member, co-owner and producer of SIX in Branson, Missouri.

SIX is not the Broadway musical. It is a contemporary vocal band built around six real-life brothers—six voices, zero instruments, all music—with harmony, vocal percussion, comedy, family history, and decades of shared timing.

A working lifetime in entertainment

Five decades onstage are not proof of a theory about human nature. They are a fairly large collection of evidence.

Audiences teach you about attention. Brothers teach you about memory. Production teaches you that the official plan and the show that actually happens are often distant relatives. Repetition teaches you that doing the same show is not the same as having the same night.

That background supplies much of the lived experience behind Barry’s writing, but this page is history and provenance—not a sales page for SIX.
